There are weddings that feel inseparable from the city in which they take place. This was one of them.

Paris became more than a beautiful backdrop for this celebration. From the ceremony at the Polish Embassy to a portrait session through the city, every part of the day felt connected to its unmistakable atmosphere.

For me, planning a wedding in Paris also felt deeply personal. I lived in the city for ten years, speak French and know the realities of organising a celebration in France. That local understanding, combined with years of experience working with international couples, allows me to guide the planning process across languages, cultures and countries.

A WEDDING DAY MADE FOR PARIS

The celebration brought together an elegant ceremony, time with the couple’s closest guests and a wedding session among some of Paris's most recognisable streets and architecture.

Rather than competing with the city, the wedding allowed Paris to become part of the experience — timeless, effortless and unmistakably French.

For a destination wedding, that sense of place matters. The venue, logistics, timing, suppliers and guest experience all need to work together, particularly when a couple is organising their wedding from another country.

My role is to bring those elements together into one clear plan, so that the couple can experience Paris rather than spend their wedding day managing it.

PLANNING A WEDDING IN PARIS FROM ABROAD

Organising a destination wedding in Paris comes with a different set of decisions than planning a wedding close to home.

Language, local suppliers, venues, logistics and communication all become part of the planning process. Having someone who understands both the local context and the expectations of an international couple can make that process significantly easier.

I work in Polish, English and French and support couples throughout the planning process — from the first decisions and supplier communication to the final preparations and wedding day itself.

After 18 years of planning weddings, I still believe the best celebrations are not about following a formula. They are about understanding the couple, the place and what will make the experience feel genuinely theirs.

And sometimes, that place is Paris.
